PetZoo! 2010 is taking place August 6th & 7th at Priedaine, located in Freehold, NJ. Priedaine is a cultural event facility owned by the New Jersey Latvian Society. It has both indoor and outdoor stages, a bar, ampitheater seating, sports fields and ample space for camping.

We hope you’ll decide to join us for the PetZoo! If you do decide to come, we’ve put together some information to answer any questions you may have about the festival and what to expect. Where to Park and Where to Stay

Camping and parking are both included in the price of your ticket. The campground provides plenty of space, trees and shade for everyone. For those of you not camping we'll provide some links to area hotels in the coming weeks.

What to Bring and What Not to Bring

PetZoo! Festival is an all day music festival held outdoors so you should dress accordingly. Comfortable clothes, a pair of comfortable shoes, a hat, sunglasses, bugspray and some sunblock would be a good start. The Festival will be held rain or shine so if it looks like rain be sure to bring the appropriate clothing.

NO NITROUS will be allowed anywhere at the Festival. Zero tolerance. If you are caught with nitrous you will be ejected from the festival and forfeit your ticket price.

No glass bottles, weapons, fireworks or illegal substances of any kind may be brought into the Festival. All bags will be subject to search at the time of entry. The Management reserves the right, without the refund of any portion of the ticket purchase price, to refuse admission or to eject any person who fails to comply with the rules of the venue and all applicable laws.

While we do love animals, for safety reasons, the only Pets allowed into the event will be you.

ID Bracelets

Once you enter the venue you will be issued an ID Bracelet. Anyone wishing to leave the venue and return MUST HAVE THIS WRISTBAND. No re-entry will be permitted without it.

Security

Securtity will be stationed throughout the venue to make sure everyone plays nice. Please don't give them an excuse to remove you. Remember, peace is the best security, so be considerate of others and be one big happy family for a day.

Medical Assistance

Medical assistance will be available to anyone in need. If you have a medical emergency please notify a member of Security immediately and the EMT will be dispatched to your location.

Food

There will be a variety of food vendors available serving both traditional and vegetarian food and beverages. You must be 21 and have a valid identification to consume alcohol. Your ID must be kept on you at all times.

Vendors

We'll be selling various toys and other things to amuse yourself with in the vendor area.

Restrooms

The venue has on-site restrooms.

Gates will open at 12pm on Friday and we ask that you exit the facility by 3pm on Sunday. Camping sites are provided on a first come first serve basis. While there is plenty of room for everyone we do ask that you be reasonable and considerate. Please don’t bring more than you need.

Coolers with a consumable amount of provisions will be allowed into the camping area and concert area.  NO GLASS BOTTLES. SMALL grills and camping stoves will be allowed.  No kegs, No pig roasts, no 55-gallon drums!

Fires

NO PRIVATE OPEN FIRES WILL BE PERMITTED. 

Grilling

PLEASE follow these instructions if you are planning on using a grill. You can use gas/propane fuel sources or charcoal, but scavenging for wood on site will NOT be permitted. The fire must be entirely contained and off the ground. Air quality is a concern. Please keep the fires as small as possible and extinguish them as soon as you are finished. When you are done cooking with charcoal, put it out with water before going into the show or going to sleep or leaving your camp, rather than letting it burn out over time. In any case, DO NOT DUMP COALS ON THE GROUND (ever) or in the trash until they are entirely cool. After the coals are COMPLETELY DEAD, dispose of them properly as garbage.

Parking for Campers

We ask that those camping please keep their cars parked until they exit the festival for good. By moving your car you will forfeit your spot. There will be a separate parking area for those with one-day tickets.

RVs

Parking for RV's will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis, please contact us ahead of time to make arrangements. All RVs must remain parked until they exit the festival for good. By moving your RV you will forfeit your spot. There will not be any hookups or dumping areas provided. There will not be gas available onsite. You should be sure to fill the RV before entering and bring extra gas with you if you plan on running your generator over the weekend.

PetZoo! reserves the right to request that generators be shut down if they are making to much noise or are located to close to the stage during a performance. There are numerous power hookups throughout the campground for your everyday needs.

Music

Everyone is encouraged to bring their acoustic/non-amplified instruments. No amplified instruments or radios will be permitted in the camping area.

Take I-95 N to Exit 8 toward Hightstown/Freehold. Keep left at the fork to continue toward Franklin St/NJ-33 East. Follow NJ-33 East to Priedaine.

From New York (52 miles):
Take I-95 South to Exit 11 for the Garden State Pkwy toward US-9/Woodbridge. Follow the Garden State Pkwy South to Exit 123. Take US-9 South to the County Rd 537/W Main St exit toward Freehold. Turn right at County Rd 537 W/W Main St and take the ramp onto NJ-33 East. Follow NJ-33 East to Priedaine.
