Artist Lineup - Si Senorita

Si Senorita

Si Senorita is a refreshing blend of blues, reggae, and rock that always delivers a positive vibe. They are based out of Lansdale, PA (30 min North of Philadelphia) - and, although being relatively new to the scene, they are quickly growing to become one of the areas top bands. Most of their fans enjoy dancing and singing along to their songs, but what is most exciting is how they appeal to new crowds just as well.

They began jamming together at an open-mic about one year, prior to uniting as a band in the spring of 2004. The open-mic took place at Finn McCool's Tavern in Hatfield, PA and was run by Justin Deitrich (Deeter) and Mike Garrity. The open-mic began with solo acts, and over several months evolved into an amazing collaboration of musicians playing together - each bringing their own styles to form a unique sound. When Mike Clemmer (Rolf) showed up one night and jumped in on a jam, they all knew the chemistry was there and decided to pursue music as a band. That is when they added their final element - Brian Motz as drummer. Their bluesy, reggae sound really began to develop after Deeter and Garrity became roommates in July of 2004. Having a house (The Compound) equipped with a basement allowed the band to practice regularly and work on their own original music. In January of 2005 Si Senorita began recording their first demo which was released in July 2005 ("El Demo") and contains six original tracks. They plan to begin working on their full length debut album this fall.

You could typically catch them playing in bars/clubs in the greater Philadelphia suburbs, but they also make their way into the heart of the city. They have played well-know performance venues such as The Khyber, Doc Watson's, and Club 218 and have headlined at up and coming venues like the Crazy Carl's in Schwenksville, PA, and The Millcreek Tavern in University City (University of Penn.).

Si Senorita's style of music is timeless, which is why people of all ages seem to respond. Musical influences are rooted from The Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, and Pink Floyd but also include newer artists such as G. Love and Sublime.
